Tri-State Pictures is a Los Angeles based film studio and production company. Founded by three Sony Entertainment producers, the company has expanded into mid-budget productions with feature film scripts.
For this identity creation, Tri-State Pictures wished to put at the heart of its image the crossing of these founders. Coming from 3 different American states, the three producers form a single entity. The creative approach is to offer a metaphor of the different roads converging towards a single turning point.
I developed a monogram for this new visual identity with the 3 letters "Tri". The lines are presented as a metaphor of interstate roads going in the same direction. Thus, this new identity offers new perspectives and opens new ways for future productions.

My plastic research focused on signs that evoke convergence, meetings, unions all while symbolizing the letter T.
At different levels, the monogram becomes an abstract form that evokes the continuity of storytelling.
