Longines has a strong relationship with the field of equestrian sports. The timepiece brand is deeply engaged in the organization of events across the four corners of the globe. The Longines Global Champion Tour is an annual international show jumping event founded in 2006.
At the occasion of this new anniversary, Longines wished to communicate around a prestigious recurrence that reunited the most famous names in the world of show jumping. The main objective is to launch a social media campaign that is inspired by both the brand guidelines as well as the different places where the competition takes place. Thus, Longines strengthens its presence in the equestrian world within Europe, but also throughout all the other continents.
The artistic direction I developed leaned heavily upon the vertical aspect of this sport. To take on a higher profile and to offer the public an unforgettableexperience, I created a dynamic visual identity that proposes a unique exhibition for each city where the competition takes place. The riders challenge their abilities above the most notable monuments of those cities. Relying on a bold and colorful graphic style, the brand sets itself apart with ‘fougue’ (passion) and shares with the public the vigor of an extraordinary equestrian event.
