Tri-State Pictures, a Los Angeles-based film studio and production company, was founded by three Sony Entertainment producers who joined forces to expand into mid-budget feature film productions. Rooted in their shared journey from three different American states, the company’s identity reflects the convergence of their paths into a unified vision.
For this identity, I developed a monogram featuring the three letters "Tri," with intersecting lines symbolizing interstate roads converging toward a single destination. This metaphor not only captures the unity of the founders but also embodies the studio’s commitment to creating new paths and perspectives for future productions. The resulting design is both dynamic and forward-looking, aligning with the studio’s mission to shape the future of filmmaking.

ARTISTIC RESEARCHES
The crossroads
My plastic research focused on signs that evoke convergence, meetings, unions all while symbolizing the letter T.
At different levels, the monogram becomes an abstract form that evokes the continuity of storytelling.

A coherent set of variations was designed for the production teams.
