Founded in 1755, Vacheron Constantin is the world’s oldest continuously operating watchmaker, celebrated for over 260 years of unparalleled craftsmanship and stylistic ingenuity. Embodying the essence of Fine Watchmaking, the Maison blends technical mastery with timeless artistry to create exceptional timepieces.

For its Les Aérostiers collection, Vacheron Constantin pays homage to the pioneers of flight with intricate designs inspired by the historic 1783 hot-air balloon flight in France. Featuring plique-à-jour enameling and detailed hand-engraving, the watches evoke a dreamlike journey. The campaign’s narrative, influenced by Jules Verne’s Five Weeks in a Balloon, captures the spirit of adventure and humanity’s enduring aspiration to soar higher.

ARTISTIC RESEARCHES

An iconographic historic investigation

A serious plunge into engraving and book imprints from 1860 to 1900 was done in order to bring back the authentic embellishments and visual style of the periods.

Specific fonts and flourishes have been designed to reinforce historic references in for the title cards and credits.
