FESTIVAL ZTZ – POUR LA LIBERTÉ

DIVERSITY AND LIBERTY

 Designed for Asso Unvsti

The festival Zero to the Zero Tolerance (ZTZ) is an event organized by Unvsti Association in Saint-Brieuc (Brittany). The festival was inspired by the anti-discrimination riots of 2004 in France and promotes universal access to culture with a focus on dance and Hip-Hop culture. During the festival month, different shows, lectures and meetings are organized in many places in the city of Saint-Brieuc. In 2015, the festival’s theme was “Liberty.” This theme was chosen in light of the tragic events that took place in Paris in January 2015 against the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo.

The festival was attended by over 5.500 people who participated in the workshops, exhibitions, and exchanges through dance. To honor this special theme, I designed a visual that reflected liberty through the simple movement of dance, a naive expression of the body, an impulse of creativity and pleasure, with the freedom to move wherever and whenever desired.
